Professor Kenji Sato is a renowned academic philosopher whose work bridges Eastern and Western intellectual traditions. For over four decades, he has explored questions of ethics, epistemology, and the philosophy of technology at leading universities in Japan, the United States, and Europe. His essays for The Discourse examine the fundamental questions facing modern civilization, from the nature of consciousness to the ethical implications of artificial intelligence. Prof. Sato is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Kyoto University and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
